The former captain expressed his ambition to be part of a triumphant World Cup team, emphasizing the significance of this dream in his cricketing journey.

Reflecting on the influence of Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam credited the former captain for his support during the formative stages of his career. He acknowledged Sarfaraz’s encouragement and support.

Delving into his cricketing archives, Azam shared some cherished innings that defined his career. “My century in Brisbane against Australia in 2019 and the 196-run knock in the second Test against Australia in Karachi in 2022 are my favorites in Tests. In white-ball cricket, 158 against England in Birmingham and T20I centuries against South Africa and New Zealand hold a special place in my heart,” he revealed.

“In the BPL, facing top-notch spinners is a challenge, and I aim to adjust my playing style based on the conditions. Having come here from New Zealand. I notice a contrast in the playing conditions between the two places,” he added.
He also spoke about recognizing the balance between youth and experience in T20 cricket. “Youth is beneficial in T20 cricket, but it should go hand in hand with experience,” he concluded.
