Rizwan Charles and Bowlers Seal Top Spot For Multan Sultans, Multan Sultans marched into the playoffs of PSL 2024 with a dominating 79-run victory over Quetta Gladiators in the final league game of the season, a victory that sealed their top spot in the standings and assured them two shots at making the final.

The performance was studded by an excellent batting show led by half-centurions Mohammad Rizwan and Johnson Charles, who fired the team to 185 before the bowlers took charge to inflict a heavy defeat on the opposition ahead of their post-league eliminator clash.

Brief scores: Multan Sultans 185/4 in 20 overs (Mohammad Rizwan 69, Johnson Charles 53; Mohammad Amir 2-40) beat Quetta Gladiators 106 in 15.5 overs (Omair Yousuf 37; David Willey 3-22, Usama Mir 3-22) by 79 runs.
